Dogs must be up to date on their boosters, as provided by your vet. Many clinics have instituted a three-year plan for this program, and we honour this.
Young dogs must have at least their first two puppy shots for proper immunization.
Vaccination against kennel cough (Bordatella) is required.
We supply bowls or dishes. We encourage you to bring bedding that your pet is accustomed to, and/or an item that has your scent (we will wash these later, if indicated). You are welcome to bring toys. Please keep your leash with you, as I will worry about misplacing it.
We ask that you supply your dog's food and treats. We are well able to administer medication of any kind prescribed by your vet, or supplements. We reserve the right to charge for this.

It is helpful if you write your pet's feeding instructions (quantity, times, method) to leave with us. Feel free to add information about his/her habits, such as "sits for treats", commands, or behaviours. It helps us to know our new or returning friends.

Many people do not vaccinate their cats; it is recommended but not required here. We ask that you bring your cat's food and treats, or we can provide these for a small daily fee.
You are welcome to bring bedding and toys.

Waiver/Disclaimer/Consent:

You may be asked to sign a waiver. In decades of business I have had little need for waivers, but this is the gist:
If your pet is left for a period of 14 days past the date on which we expect him/her to be picked up, the animal is considered to be ours. We are reasonable people: if we are informed that you are delayed, this will not apply!
If your pet runs out of food, treats or medication while here, we will strive to supply the same, so that there is no change in his/her routine.
Every effort will be made to keep your family member well. If he/she needs veterinary attention, we will seek their usual veterinarian or the closest one. The cost will be passed on to you, unless it is determined that we should share responsibility.
